Fall is my absolute FAVORITE time of year. It is what I miss the most about living in NY. There was such a crispness in the air, the beauty of the leaves changing colors, the crunching sound of the leaves underfoot, that had fallen from the trees, the colorful pumpkins, the brightness of the sunflowers, the crunch of crisp, sweet apples, and the smell of fresh apple pies baking from the apples you just picked. It would send me into a heavenly sensory overload! The good news, for me, is that I am going back there next month, and hopefully will get to experience it again. The good news for you, is that I have put together a few collages to represent some of my favorites about Fall, so if you don’t live near it, at least you can visually see what I’m talking about.

Stacey, I love how you put these photos together. You have such an eye for beauty!!
I love fall because
it is a HUGE CHANGE from icky summer lol.
And I love the colors
And plentiful harvests
And the promise of winter
And the crisp, cool evenings
And something about fall gets me back into the kitchen again.
Fall isn’t boring; it signifies change.
I’m sure there are many more reasons, but those are some of them!

I love your interpretation of “Fall”
I notice you say you are going back there next month is it for a visit or to live? OPlease forgive me if /you’ve written a blog post about it, but I am so far behind with everyones blog posts…I am now just moving forward.

Thanks PiP! I am going back for a visit. My sister is coming over from London to get married and we are also having a family reunion. I haven’t been home in 4 years so it will be nice.
