It’s Wednesday….Hump Day….and it also means it’s time for another sepia photo. I took this photo on a nature walk. There was a goat and 2 horses, fenced up in someone’s back yard. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be an animal….they just eat and sleep and other people take care of all their needs. They don’t have to pay bills, work, or deal with other adult responsibilities. But then I think, this animal is fenced it; it has no real freedom or independence, since it IS dependent on others for everything. So for today, I will just enjoy looking at the picture and simplicity of his life in the photo, and reflect on my life and hope to appreciate my freedoms and independence just a little bit more.
What do you feel/see when looking at this picture? Any thoughts?

It’s a beautiful photo. I think of dependency when I see this picture. He is dependent on some human for everything.

I feel calm and safe when I look at your photo. The goat certainly seems to feel that way.

I think it’s probably unaware of much beyond its own instincts, so no harm no foul whatever we decide.
